I’m noticing a slight in-out play in the arbor of my table saw, maybe 1/32. I can hear it inside the motor when I push in or out.

1. This isn’t normal/good right?
2. Does this sound like bearings going out?
3. If not the bearings what else could it be?

The saw is a Rockwell 34-345.

Thank you.

How old is the saw? I’m with The Hunter. Sure sounds like a bearing issue.

I think the saw is from the 70s, so 40 or more years old.

Have your say...
