Joe , I hope it works better than the Delta X5 that I own…..nothing but problems with it.
I finally gave up on it and only use it for the roughest abrasive planing on figured woods and then do the finish sanding with my Ryobi DS. But then again , they probably aren’t all as bad as my machine. Best wishes.

-- When did quiet and quite become the same word ? I'm guessing about the same time as your and you're did.

My friend says there is really nothing wrong with it, works fine, etc., EXCEPT it turns out to be too small for his needs…

He has quite a supply of belts also…

It’s virtually brand new… (as good as you can get to it) :)
