Just sitting here thinking about a new subject, while drinking my first cup of java. So to the polls we go….What is the limit of cups allowed in the shop in the morning? What type of coffee and what type of coffee maker? Do you have one in the shop, or is it ordered through your spouse in the kitchen? In our last home, the shop was about 100 feet from the kitchen, I hooked up a set of field Army phones and when coffee was needed I could crank the phone and speak with the “boss” in the kitchen, and within a short span of time coffee would appear. Just one of the perks of being married to the right woman, other times I got no answer and would have to go and retrieve a cup on my own. As for coffee of choice, DD is still high on the list, and if I ever hit the lottery, I’ll get a Bunn maker.

Coffee in the shop only in winter. Then it’s in a quart thermos with its own cup.
Usually have two or three mugs before heading to the shop in the summer. Gotta soak up that AC first.
We use a Cusinart coffee machine that grinds the beans an brews the coffee. We like Costco beans. They say they are roasted by Starbucks. I’ll bet that they are the same beans Starbucks uses. At any rate, it’s great coffee.

Limits!? We don’t need no stinkin’ limits!

Costco Columbian dark roast. Strong. Pour through a cone filter.

Coffee is in the kitchen on a warmer. Seldom go out to the shop without a coffee mug in my hand. Every couple days the wife makes a sweep through the shop and gathers up all the errant mugs.

Tim Horton ground coffee,2 cups/day,use Black & Decker Coffee maker set on 1-4 cup setting.In Canada,every one knows Tim Horton for their good coffee and fresh donuts ,I dirnk my coffee double/double which means two cream two sugar.

Don’t touch the stuff myself, I have much worst vices than coffee…..says the “Monster” 2 a day!

2 mugs a day (3 on occasion) of Gevalia Breakfast Blend or Dark Roast made in a traditional cone filter coffee maker.

Typically Starbucks or Duncan Donuts gets brewed at our house usually in the Mr. Coffee with the insulated stainless pot so I just take it out to the shop and will empty it. We have a french press also that gets used.

Plain old Folgers, a little creamer in my bubba keg cup. Holds maybe 6 -8 cups. That pretty much lasts me all day.

I consume up to 8 cups a day and have been for probably 45 years.
I have gone through, I don’t know how many, coffee makers.
My favorite is the Bunn because it seems to last the longest … probably jinxed it now.
For many years I drank Folgers and about 4 years ago switched to Yuban which I think is better.
When I use the Kuerig machine I prefer Fog Chaser, a coffee from San Francisco or the Gevalia dark royal roast.

The Fog Chaser coffee doesn’t have the typical K cup look because of the filter basket instead of a plastic cup that can be seen above. Fog Chaser is some good coffee but sometimes hard to find.

Morning coffee is Folger’s instant, black. Scares me awake, mostly; I sure don’t drink it for the flavor. Weekends we have a cup or two of ground beans from a local coffee roaster run through a French press. Afternoons it’s tea time, black looseleaf Chinese tea.

Taster’s Choice instant. Up to 3 cups a day. Any more than that, I get the shakes. But it’s nice in the morning. I don’t drink it after ~12:30 PM or it will keep me awake too late in the day.

Due to a head injury I cannot taste “Upscale” coffees. Needless to say my sense of smell is all but gone. I can, however, taste, and enjoy, Wal-Mart’s dark roast. I make 4-5 cups in the AM. I put it all in one mug and drink it until my taste says that is it. I seldom drink the whole mug full.
The “Good” stuff? I can put a lot of coffee in the maker and still not taste it. I can feel the caffeine though. I bet I could thread a sewing machine.

No limit, just drink what and when I feel like. No coffee maker in the shop which is 80 feet from the house.

I have a so called 10 cup coffee maker. I make a pot and drink it until it gone, that usually takes 2-3 days to drink it all.

I don’t make fresh everyday. I find it wasteful to pour something down the kitchen sink that i paid good money for.

Gerald Thompson, I have a similar affliction with taste, due to a head injury. But coffee is my obsession from the time I wake up, dark roast black and strong, I think because I can taste it, after 1700 its 190 proof again cause I can taste it and I can. But as you said the wallmart dark roast is not bad at all for a bargain priced coffee as best I can tell anyway.
