Hi, l am jim1959 ( Jim Reeves ) l have had a few past rough weeks l am wondering if any lumberjocks live near Trenton, Ontario who may have a few older working tools around they would consider selling to me.
My one problem is l bought a older 6 inch jointer for $ 100.00 a Rockwell Beaver made 2 short test cuts to try it out and it stopped working.
Turned out to be the switch fixed wire but now keeps dying won’t work at all now.

When l bought it should have thought harder but had wanted a jointer for so long bought on inpulse l guess.
It needs a new belt, knives but if not working buying those seems pointless.
So l thought l would ask on here not sure if anyone lives near who may have one
Cheapest new one is $ 399.99 made king but saving up $ 399.00 may as well wait for the lottery better chances likely.

also hoping to find a bandsaw 14 inch if one comes up l realize this is a long shot but thought l would post and ask.
Or if anyone knows of a web site in canada perferably in ontario Toronto area even that sells used equipement please let me know.

Thanks Jim Reeves

Jim, did you ever find the tools you were looking for?

I’ve been checking auction web sites and the local radio swap and shop type shows, classifieds, and things like that. We even have something called ‘eBrandon’ here that a clever local fellow developed and there is a classified section there, there may be something similar in your area.
