I just joined the site yesterday and I want to thank all that emailed me a warm welcome. You don’t see that kind of stuff on other sites.
I have a small cabinet/carpenter business here in Pensacola, FL that I do mainly custom cabinets, refacing, installation and trim carpentry. I’ve been in construction my whole working career and in business since 1985, looking forward to sharing tips and ideas with fellow woodworkers.
When not doing cabinet work I enjoy designing, building and flying balsawood R/C model airplanes. I mill most of the pieces I need from a pallet of balsa planks I bought several years ago. This is cheaper than buying sheets and sticks but more important it allows me to choose the proper density of wood for a specific application. This help keep the planes strong and light.
