hey guys just wondering about this downed tree a Bradford pair how ever you spell that. Anyway I know its nothing to see one snap in two during a mild thunder storm which is what happened to this one, is there any use I can get out of it. I`m talking about ripping it down and planning it and using it to make something or is it to brittle and not worth the time and effort. Really hate to see any wood go to waste what’s the best use for it. Any advice is appreciated.

I have used it both ways. Well worth the effort to save as much as you can.

I have some that I cut into turning blanks for the lathe. I haven’t used it yet but it should be a good turning wood

Pear is a beautiful fruit wood and can be used for anything you would like to build for inside your house. It works very much like cherry
