Sorry, there is no way I can see to delete your own post, only to edit it…

My answer to your question is yes, the search function does in fact do something, at least when I try it…

Yep; there is no way to delete you own post.

The search does nothing for me. Anything I type into it get zero hit.

Thanks

Weird. As a test, I typed in Grizzly, Rikon and moulder, all came back with multiple results.
Hope this gets sorted out for you!

If you have Ghostery, you have to pause it to search.

I usually get several hits on completely unrelated ads regardless of what I’m searching.

That’s weird, you must get at least a few hits, the search function is working as it should on my desktop..

I use that search function quite a bit. Sometimes you have to scroll thru some non-related stuff depending on what words you are searching, but I can usually find what I want.

I’m using the latest version of Firefox and I don’t use Ghostery. I get no hit at all not even one.
Thanks for the responses . Next step is to disable my add on and see if there’s something there.

Ok, I found the problem. I have an add on to my browser “Google Disconnect” that’s supposed Stop Google from tracking the webpages you go to.

Disabling that give me my search function back.

Great, glad to hear it because I use the search function a lot and it has always worked fine.
Can’t trust those computers to click something off when you need it!!
I don’t get any E mails from Lumberjocks on my AT&T E mail. I’m told it’s fine at AT&T and LJ…I switched to G mail and get them all now! go figure….........

My wife often ran into this kind of problem with websites. After much trial and error I found that oftentimes it was Firefox/Mozilla “updating” and in doing so disabled things I used the day before. Windows does the same thing. Disabled all updates and have since not had similiar problems. Security programs must be updated but this constant update every day is insanity squared! LOL
