Topic tags/keywords: rubber bands

In the past I have purchased these large rubber bands from Rockler . I need more of them . Anyone know we’re I could find some more? Rockler stopped carrying them.

There were several, maybe a dozen in a cellophane bag, they were natural colored, they came in 3 or 4 different sizes, about 1/2” wide. I need a few more bags.

Thanks, Pat

A quick search on Google turned up a bunch of places to buy rubber bands in various widths. I searched for ” 1/2” wide rubber bands ” (without the quotes)

Here are some, made in the USA. There is also a cool graphic showing rubber band sizes if you want certain size they probably sell it.

Alliance Sterling Rubber Band Size #82 (2 1/2 x 1/2 Inches) - 1 Pound Box (Approximately 300 Bands per Pound)

The 1lb box is $14, the 1/4lb box is $10; so might as well buy the whole pound, lol!

If you can find discarded inner tubes (do they still make those?) you can easily cut your own. Sharp shears work best.

Have you tried a stationary / office supplies store? This is an Australian company, but you can see the type of product they sell.

Will bungee cords work? Surgical rubber tubing also comes to mind.
