Why do things in life really upset you as some of you may know work for me has been hit and miss lately so money is tight .
Then i get my local sales paper and what pops up but a shopsmith mrk5 for very little money really £300 GBP i’v spoke to the guy and he said this lathe is in mint condition .
So if there is any brit turners that are interested PM me just wish i had the money i will try and get pics soon

exactly the same thing here… tight on budget, and what pops up on craigslist, if not a mint condition MkV for less than $300…

I had to work real hard to convince myself there are better things in life worth waiting for… the moment has passed… maybe someday it’ll come back in the form of a rerun. who knows. but for now – I think I made the better choice.

Peace mate!

When I first came to Seattle teh hawk shops on 1st Ave in Seatttle were full of Colt pistols in presentation boxes. At that time they were a weels wages to me. Now, the’re worth several months wages!!! Oh well, we’ve all got our stories ;-))
