There was a recent question about using a MK2 honing gage to sharpen spokeshave blades. I can hone free hand with chisels and plane blades but can’t seen to stay consistent with the short blade. I use my MK 2 this way, set the body on the green button and the blade gage on yellow 35 for the primary bevel. Spin the roller wheel down 2 clicks and you get a 2 degree or so micro bevel. Repeatable and easy.

I have posted a couple pic’s of the set up to get a 25 degree primary bevel. I hope the pictures show up and I hope this helps
