I made a set of Adirondack chairs out of pressure-treated lumber, they were used as a guest book at a wedding reception. guests used sharpie markers to sign the chairs. I’m wondering what would be the best way to finish or seal the chairs, I have some helmsman outdoor finish or would a sealer like Thompson’s be better

May I suggest you try that varnish on a piece of scrap you’ve written on first. It would be a shame to have the ink smear, as it might with your brush strokes. That is an awesome looking set and a really neat idea.
