I was looking online and saw that LN has a blade for their #62 LA jack that is ground at 90 degrees, so it can be used like a scraper.

Has anyone tried this? Does it work ok?

Thanks,
Brian

I haven’t. It would be more like a toothing plane
for making veneer substrates I think.

A scraper plane for finish scraping you want a sole
about 8 inches long or shorter.

With a 90 degree bevel and the bed at 12 degrees, it should present an angle similar to a card scraper. They make a separate blade that is toothed for roughing. I get the bed length issue too though.

Anyone else?
