My wife and I have been to one of these in Novosibirsk. She warned me on the drive there that it’s not like a Home Depot or Lowes. She wasn’t kidding either. She yelped at me for 2 hours because she got her boots muddy too. Course, it was my idea to go and check it out so I had to hear her yelp for two hours for payback I suppose.

The one we went to you had a choice of two woods, Spruce or Birch and very little Birch. There’s a large Baltic Birch plywood plant there. I visited it too but they wouldn’t let me take pictures but they we’re very nice people and asked me a lot of questions about their plywood in the US.

This lady has some real nice videos that get you out of the main stream of Moscow and you see some of the real life over there.
