Topic tags/keywords: relay switch dust collector clearvue cyclone question

Does anyone have a ClearVue Cyclone with the two pole relay switch? I need to know if the 110 volt leads go to the connections on the long side of the switch and the 220 volt leads go on the connections on the short sides of the switch. There were no instructions with the switch and I am unable to find anything on the internet. This is the same relay switch that is sold by ClearVue from Ace Hardware. Your help is appreciated.
Thanks

My system didn’t come with anything electrical except the motor. Ed must have got tired of fielding the same questions! I bought a 2-pole relay, put it in a NEMA enclosure, and then hooked it up to a 3-way circuit. One switch at the cyclone and one at the shop door. Now I’m looking for another solution- one that will let me carry a remote doohickaloid to turn on the cyclone from anywhere.
Any ideas?

Myron et al,

I have the deal for you if your dust collector operates on 220V and you want a remote control. Go to:
http://www.clearvuecyclones.com/Order_Page.htm
and check out the Heavy Duty Relay, Heavy Duty Remote Control, and the extra Pocket Remote. The wiring diagram is on page 21 and 22 of the Instruction page: http://www.clearvuecyclones.com/ClearVue%20Installation%20Instructions%202007.pdf

This get up is not too expensive and is of good quality.
