I have this two spindle, horizontal boring machine which I’m not going to use. I believe its primary job was to make dowel holes for faceframes and butt joint glue ups. The moter is a 1/2 HP and looks and acts almost new. It is a capaciter start moter. The moter mount is adjustable in that you can easily lower the mount to adjust the belt. The bearings are quite without wear or wobble. The spindles are a bit rusty but run true without any noise. The spindles are plain chuck 1/2” bored. Bits of various sizes are easily available, from Morris Wood Tool or on Amazon. The push arm is missing its knob but is threaded and it would be easy to replace. A bit dusty and dirty but can easily be cleaned up. A heavy good machine for a limited purpose. With the addition of a some jigs could be a really productive machine.

I live in Harrison, Arkansas. It could be picked up here as I’d welcome a visit from another LJ. Or, I could drive a short distance to meet someone, perhaps Branson? I would like to have $125 or perhaps trade for something.
