This is a 16” saw and said to be a very nice machine. I would
bid on it if I lived near enough to pick it up easily.

Yeah, a great bandsaw!!!

I have a 1940s era Walker Turner 14” bandsaw I bought used back in 1962 when I was in college and it is still running and looks like the day I bought it. These things are heavily built and all cast iron and last forever! The only negative is it doesn’t have the re-sawing capacity for turning logs into lumber that some of the latest bandsaws have and can’t easily be fitted with a riser block. But other than that its a true winner!!!

That said, the 16” is the big one they made, I think
this is it, but there are smaller ones that look pretty
similar. I could be wrong about the size but generally
the ones with the gearing for cutting metal are the 16”
