Been using my dewalt table saw for under a year with moderate use. I’m finding that the rack and pinion fence is getting jammed up and very hard to move now. I tried blowing it out with compressed air but no luck. Guessing i’m going to have to take it all apart to clean it out then re align it. should i spray the rails down with teflon spray or something to help prevent this in the future?

also i noticed my riving knife is leaning toward the fence as when i push past the blade and against the knife theres more friction than there should be (or was when first got the saw). I don’t see any adjustments but i guess i could sand the knife down to make it thinner?

The slider around the fence will build up with dust. Its mostly under the fence on the tracks, on the front & back, it takes minute but clean those & keep them clean & that should help ya.
