Stanley #75 rabbet plane?

Hi, I am looking at a rabbet plane that a guy wants to sell me. It is a small rabbet plane, and he tells me it is “unmarked”. By the pictures, it looks just like a Stanley #75 rabbet plane. I have seen other pictures of #75s and they all have a sticker on the back, right where your palm would be. I can see this falling off in about a weeks time. My question is: Are the #75s marked in any other way to identify them as a stanley?
