Wishing him “Fair winds and smooth waters”. Glad to see things are going well. Thanks for posting this David…I saw his posting when he was getting ready to leave….and have missed his great projects. Glad to see he is keeping in touch and is safe. I will certainly tune in now and then to see the progress….what a great adventure.

It must be wonderful to participate in a project like that. Good luck Tuanie!

Hi David, I’m back on terra firma, I had a wonderful experience sailing on the sewn ship with a crew of over 7 nationalities.
I am now based in Oman in-charge of the model-making section of the Jewel of Muscat Project.
It is a dream job for me.
I am glad to be back again amongst my fellow LumberJock’s.
I will keep you posted of whatever interesting woodworking jobs I do, as in the past.
Please convey my Regards and Thanks to all the Lumberjocks who wished me well.
Best Regards,
Tuanie

Tuanie, I was thinking that I had not seen anymore progress information lately, and came back to this post to find the link to the web page. Then I found that you had returned from your adventure. Glad to hear you returned safely and with such a wonderful collection of memories. Such an adventure is indeed once in a lifetime….and glad to hear you are having a great time working on the model…..They are indeed lucky to find someone with so much talent. I am looking forward to seeing some of your future projects again.
