See the following project:

It seems that Popular Mechanics only keeps the plans on their site for a limited time. Does anyone happen to have a copy of these plans?

I spent a few minutes and couldn’t find anything. I guess my next question is, do you really need plans? It’s a pretty straight-forward design, and the linked project shows the underside, where you can see the structure. I would go ahead and just draw up my own plans. If there were chairs involved, that would be a different story. The table height is probably 30” above the deck. The good news about making your own plans is that you can customize it to fit your deck perfectly. If you’re planning on putting an umbrella in the middle, I’d go to HD and measure the weighted base, to make sure your legs don’t interfere. Pockets screws make it a pretty easy build. Good luck, sorry I couldn’t help more.
