Hey guys, I’m fairly new to the LJ community and I was curious if anyone around here uses Twitter?

I don’t tweet myself but do follow plenty of people.

Hey Mark, followed you. I took a peek at your website and your woodwork is very beautiful.

I have a page, but I never twitter by hand. My blog posts and Etsy product additions automatically update it. That’s the only reason I even have an account. Personally, I think the thing is stupid, but if it brings me sales, I’ll play stupid. http://twitter.com/appcraftsmen.

Yep, but my updates are boring and eclectic enough that it’s not likely you’ll find ‘em worth following: http://twitter.com/danlyke

never quite understood the hype behind twitter. The pessimistic side of me saw the encouragement in it for the stalker in all of us LOL … maybe someone can explain it to me? I spend so much time here and a little on facebook. When I remember to go into twitter, there’s tons of updates … too numerous to go through.

Hey Dale, added you as a follow, same with you renaissanceww, thanks for sharing guys! :)

To answer your question NewPickeringWdWrkr, basically it’s a marketing tool and communication tool, you inform your followers about recent updates and changes in your business or community. Some people use it for personal use (most I’d say), although I’m not really the type that would. It’s really only for to help spread word about your business and really any information you’d like to instantly get to your audience.

Anyway guys, thanks for sharing your Twitters, I look forward to more.
