Topic tags/keywords: question tablesaw

Gents,

I’m new to woodworking in general and am trying to build my shop. I was trolling Craigslist looking at table saws when I stumbled upon a Woodtek model 148274. I’ve searched everywhere I know to look, including here, but can’t find any mention of them. Does anyone have any insight into this model of tablesaw? I know the newer woodteks are expensive and generally seem to be well regarded, but nothing beyond that.

Thanks

Ben

Ben, This might be an older model table saw that is no longer available. The Woodtek website has various table saws and they appear to be very similar if not exactly like Grizzly table saws. My opinion: I would continue to search Craigslist for a more commonly available brand name. Also, thanks for your service.

It is an older saw. I would search for replacement parts, before pulling the trigger.
This is what Fine Woodworking magazine had to say….
