Topic tags/keywords: tool chest

This was practically given to me yesterday. I offered a small sum and was told to take it only on the condition I took everything in it!

Update:
The tools and chest came from a dairy farm near Cooperstown, NY. The owner’s son had already taken the planes and chisels, but wanted nothing else. Lots of odds and ends. A full compliment of saws all in great shape. Drills, braces and bits galore. A few shingle hatchet heads, axe heads and the like. A lot of rock tools, (wedges and chisels). A few sharpening stones, saw sets, and a hammer head or two and a couple of knives.

Planes are everywhere, it’s often the odds and ends that are a pain to get a hold of.

Are any of them “vintage?” I’d love to see some photos of any stamps or markings on the tools to try and identify the year they were made and where!
