I pickup a General 260 variable speed lathe. It runs good, but I can only adjust the speed lever from 10 to 7. I can’t set it past 7. Does anyone have experience or recommendations to adjust so I can get better speed ranges?
Thanks in advance…
Sean

If it has a reeves drive, maybe a good cleaning and lube would be the solution.
