Came across a grizzly g1025 wood lathe and looking to buy it. Asking 350. Wondering if this was a good buy or any opinions on the machine. Couldn’t find anything at all about it online. Thanks.

All I found was a couple old threads where someone was asking the same question as you.
Here is a link to the old thread.
Advise was to stay away from it. Its old enough that I don’t even see pictures of it. $350 is way to much for it.
All Grizzly has is a parts list for it.
Also the model number suggest that its a 10 inch swing with a 25 inch bed.
If you want to go that small, rockler has the excelsior lathe on sale all the time for less money brand new.
Good luck.

Why pay that much for an obsolete wood lathe? Think can find that style lathe sold on E-Bay under different names for little less. For that kind of money can buy a new lathe and parts if and when need them. Some folks for that lathe to go on sale or use a coupon to buy.

Craig Lists is rift with obsolete wood lathes that were problems same day hit the market and cannot find parts for!

If go to E-Bay will find various versions of that lathe selling from $90 to over $200. They all come with ½ HP motor and 14” x 40”.

Somebody posted a video of his obsolete HF version he bought for $50 used!
