Anyone else out there have issues with the Dremel Multimax burning up under light use. I have had this for about 9 months now and use it quite often for detail work nothing that I would consider hard labor like some of my other tools recieve but the other day it just didn’t want to come fully up to speed it comes on and no smoke like when a tool normally burns up but it won’t speed up. Just wondering if I’m special today or if others have had this issue.

Were you able to claim warranty on this. I’ve had a Dremel for a long time (not the Multimax) and it gets as hot a as all get out but it still runs. I’ve replaced brushes in it and that helps, but it just won’t die so I can’t really justify buying a new one ;-)
