Got a visit yesterday, form another LJ Mytoya She was in town and stopped by for a visit and a little info on turning.

Here is a pic of me and her.

Mytoya and Me

As you can see, we are both smiling a LOT. It was a lot of fun having another LJ stop by. We talked wood and turning and gardens, and kids, and craft shows and,,,,,,,you get the picture. It was non stop fun and information being exchanged.

We even got my wife Sue involved.

Mytoa sue and me

I think my wife had just as much fun as I did.

Mytoya left with a couple pieces of turning wood, and a few thin slices I had around that will be good for her scroll saw work. I can;t wait to see what she makes from them.

Also found out, Mytoya lives about 20 miles from my daughter in California! That means, nest time I go to visit the kids, We can go visit Mytoya also!

All in all it was a wonderful day. Lots of fun and new friends made. Hope everyone gets a chance to spend time with one another. It is a LOT of fun to put faces with our log-in names.

Thanks for coming by MYtoya!

I had a Blast!!! Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home and showing me your beautiful collection of wood turnings. I’ll tell you, woodworkers are the nicest people in the world. I can’t wait for you guys to visit. Hey Sue, I was was really nice to meet you. Get started on that brag page we spoke about. I look forward to seeing the chair you were restoring. Dan thank you so much for all the goodies you sent me home with. Let me know when you guys will be out my way.

Man, you get around! Friends all over with sawdust on them. Looks like you had a great time. Good to see you with out the hat! Two lovely women with you, but it’s like a rose between the thorns, or is it the other way around this time…...

Hi Dan. You sure are lucky getting visits from lots of LJ’s. This site is like magic!!!
It is nice to see that you will have a reason to visit in Mytoya’s part of the country so you can visit her as well. And you supplied her with some local wood too!!
Nice going!!!!!!!
