Topic tags/keywords: pictures photobucket

It’s been a long time since I’ve tried to add pictures but tonight I’m having trouble. I added a blog entry and was frustrated when it came to the pictures. I use Photobucket. When I go to the bottom of the form and click on photobucket it asks me to sign in and then it takes me to the photobucket site, kicking me off LJs. That’s never happened before. I had to go to PB get my picture, then navigate back to LJ, paste my picture and repeat over and over.

What am I doing wrong? If I have to do what I had to do tonight every time, I know that I won’t be doing it at all!

Some of the things that come to mind are these: I have a new computer – a pc with windows 7. When I went to PB to add my pictures to my current albums, PB did not let me on saying that I didn’t have an account, so I opened a new one. So maybe these two facts might be some of the problem.

If one of you more literate computer folks could help me out I’d appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Betsy,
Did you open the mini browser using the tab below the window where you enter your text?

I just tried it and it worked OK for me.

Hey there Lew. Yep that’s what I tried. I’ve done it so many times before with no problem.

Betsy,
What internet browser are you using? Firefox or Internet Explorer and also what version is it?

I always open a second window for photobucket. Then I can just flip back and forth. Works great.

Betsy;

Take a look at GaryK’s Blog on posting pictures. It is a great tutorial.

Thanks guys. Lew – I’m using Firefox. I think it’s the current version since the computer is completely new.

Rick – thanks for the link – I’ll check it out.
