I picked up a couple of new tools this week. One of them is a birthday gift for my birthday back in February and the other was because the one I am using died. HD had a big tool event this week and I saved $150. Woo Hooo.

I have wanted a DBSCMS for some time. I was debating about the Makita LS1016L and the DW717. The Dewalt won by a slight margin.

My $60 Mastercraft router died the other weekend. I wnet to exchange it, but it has been discontinued. I had originally purchased the Ridgid 2hp combo kit, but it was just not feeling right.

I always wanted the Dewalt 3 piece so I said . . . what the hey . . . I will never want another router. So I got it.

I’m smiling !!!!

I don’t blame you for smiling. If I had scored that many quality tools at one time I would be smiling too. Nice score on the tools.

Setting up and using your new tools is always a joyous time. Looks like you’ll have to schedule some new projects to use them on.

Im hoping to get at them this afternoon Cato. Gotta do my taxes first . . . I’m hoping to get something back to pay for them. :-)
