I know the uses for the different thread patterns but what is the difference between the head types, one is like a rounded top and the other looks like its the smae thickness all the way up and is flat top and bottom. The one in this picture on the left is the one I’m wondering about. Thanks Pat
Also anyone find any better prices than Amazon for the 1000 count boxes?

If you click the link “screw selection chart” I think that will explain it. It sounds like one is designed for use with 1/2 ” material.

Just read the info contained in the link you provided for the Pan Head screw. ( section 3 )

Hi-lo thread pattern is recommended for poplar, now just to add a little confusion to the mix take a look at this link,
You couldn’t use 1 1/2 screws on 1/2 materiel???? I’m back to being confused
