I recently received/set up my G0555 bandsaw. One thing I’m having problems with (other than learning to use it) is the fence doesn’t lock in to place and I can’f figure out how to adjust it so that it will. The lever won’t go all the way down and the locking mechanism seems to need a 1/4” more clearance to lock down. I’ve contacted tech support…but their response wasn’t that helpful. Anyone have this saw/same issue and how did you fix it?

Is there a screw adjustment on the lever at all? Get slme pics posted, that might give us some idea on how to help. Or you may have to take it back and get a new one.

Grizzly puts a couple of different fences on their line of bandsaws. Does yours have the one with a square rail or the one that looks sort of rounded? Mine has the rounded rail and I don’t see any adjustment either. if yours has the rounded one, is it possible that it is missing the little strip of metal between the cam and the rail?

I figured it out. Found where to adjust the fence.
