I am making some ornamental banding. I have glued up several layers of dyed black costello and clued on a solid piece of Holly, the same thickness as the glued up costello. Left the pack in my banding press for over a day. I took it out, squared up the sides and let the pack set on my bench. Went out to look at it last night and the pack has warped and bowed. I know the gluing process puts a lot of moisture into the veneer.

What do you guys do to fight this issue?

About all I can do is keep it under pressure and get it mounted as quick as possible.
