Topic tags/keywords: question refurbishing

Hey all,

I’m bidding on a restoration that has clear and white lacquer (according to the client).

My questions are;

1) What would you recommend to strip the old lacquer? Any special post removal cleanup required?

2) What type of Lacquer should I look for in clear and white and where can I buy them?

Thanks in advance,

I havent removed old lacquer before but the best lacquer I have used is ML Campbell . They are good for coloured and clear finishes. As for where to buy, you can search their site for a location near you.
