I’ve been on the hunt for a new fence for my Ridgid R4512 and this Accusquare fence caught my eye -

The slotted extruded aluminum fence is very interesting – It’s like a Very Super Cool Tools aluminum extruded fence but for a price way lower.

They have a 40” version i’m interested in assuming I can get some decent feedback from real users here.

Thanks for any feedback in advance.

A friend of mine had one for a while. It was a nice upgrade from his stock Emerson Craftsman fence, but it’s not in the league of a Delta T3, Biese, Shop Fox, HTC, etc. It’s a t-square design that uses bolted aluminum pieces, and there is some deflection. You also need to roll it to the end of the rail to remove it. The T3 is a better choice in the same price range IMHO.

Thanks for the honest feedback. I guess I’m still back to the T3 even with all the imperfections I’ve read of it. At < $200, it still seems like the best value. And buying it from Home Depot allows an easy return should I get a dud.

I’ll second knotscott on that. I had the Accusquare on my last saw: I wasn’t nuts about the star handle to lock it in place, and aligning it to the miter gauges/blade was a little challenging. In contrast, I replaced my saw recently with the Delta 36-725, and the fence on it (basically a split-rail T2) is much more enjoyable to use, despite its lack of T-slots.
