Oooh wouldn’t that be nice. I live an hour away from Tracy. Wish I could jump on that one!

jonmakesthings… You are in a CHOICE position to bid on this one!!

It would be nice to see a local person win something good like this…

If I lived so close, I think I’d beg, borrow, or steal enough to try to win it!

Sorry you can’t make it…

I am NOT connected to these auctions in any way!

It’s MachineryMax auction site. Of course the bid is just $66 3 days before auction. Come 4-5 hours prior to end of the lot, that is when you see it start jumping up near the final bid end time (eh…I would guess $450-550).
I think MachineryMax HQ is in Tracy as most of their lots are there. I keep an eye out on that auction site but usually the big boys with big wallets come out to play for those type of auctions.

Hello Joe,

Did you see Jerry add a reply showing the Auction you posted with the belt sander eventually sold for USD6500, so the items may be listed as bargains but as Jim said the crazyness happens at the last minute.
Mind you thats typical of just about all auctions ebay included.

There are some bargains about I did get a good new 1.2m sash clamp this week AUD10. I am not sure why there was only one but it was definately New! go figure!

Of course it will go for more than $400-$500…

A bid of $550 – $600 might win?

... and that would be a good deal? Yes?

You never know about auction lots. I have picked up rather amazing deals (brand new Reznor UDAP 60k BTU for $100, complete micro-fence and circle jig for $50). Enough for me to keep eye out on auctions all the time. I did see a 70’s Unisaw final bid price of $350 at MachineryMax a couple months ago. But at same time, I saw final bid price of $300 for a used 1HP single bag dust collector too :)
Others here will give financial reference of price tag of used Unisaws. My right tilt late 90’s 52” with Biesemeyer fence single phase 3HP motor was $500 on craigslist. If final big price at auction was $500, I would have to add in the 15% buyer’s premium, loading fees, etc.
