Hey guys,
I am looking for a source for some replacement abrasives for the Worksharp 3000. I’ve read that alot of people have a source for these. Any links you guys could share would be great. I know Lee Valley sells 3M psa sheets, but the grit only goes to 2000 or so. I would like to get some higher grit psa like the Worksharp comes with(3500grit). Any Canadian sources for this would be good as well.

Try Chipping Away – http://www.chippingaway.com/search.aspx?q=ws3000

That is where I got my WS3000, its Canadian and it looks like they have a good selection of stuff for the WS system. Rideouts also carry the WS . . . not sure if they have the papers though.

Hey Zuki,
Thanks for the info, I’ll check it out. Rideout’s has the abrasives….25 bucks each for the fine and the coarse! It’s $14.99 at rockler.com. That’s alot cheaper even when you include the shipping of $9.00. I may have to go into Rideout’s and see about a deal on Monday, double the price is a bit ridiculous. I was looking for a source of psa micro abraisive, whether in 6” discs or sheets. $14.00 is a bit much for me. I don’t think I’ll go through much paper once I get all my chisels and plane blades up to par though. Right now it takes alot to flatten all the old planes blades I have bought recently.
