Bureaucrat (Gary) has reminded me that this weekend will be my three year anniversary as a LJ. Thank you again for your kindness, sir.
There have been many changes and many many more jocks in these intervening years (around a 1000 when I joined up versus the 17.071 current members). All of this is a testament to all the men and women who make up the community, but most important to the vision and hard work of our founder Martin and Debbie, our Community Manager (I read this as Den Mother – perhaps a fond association with Scouting has skewed my brain here).

Hats off to Lumberjocks. You get back what you put in, and as a dividend you meet some pretty amazing people.

Wow. I thought you had gotten on before me. I was 489.
I still have my “Where’s Debbie” shop passed photo.
In 2 weeks I’ll be 66. (Patron’s mention of “old guys”)

Happy birthday, Doug!

You were one of my early acquaintances here, and now I think of you as one of the best friends I’ve never met. :-)
