Hi everyone,

I’m getting ready to to make some pour and bottlestop combos , but can’t find the right mandrel for to use on my lathe. Can someone help me ?

get some allthread the size of the bottle stopper thread, feed it through the headstock, and bolt it down on both sides of the headstock.

Here’s a cheap alternative

The right side of the picture got cropped a little. The threads are a little longer that shown. It’s just a machine bolt with the head cut off. A nut threaded on- tightly and a flat washer. Works great. I hold it on the lathe using a drill chuck fitted with a #2 Morris Taper adapter.
