Hi all.
This morning, I pluged it in and it started right up. Maybe it just needed a good nights rest.

Well not exactly, before I pluged it in I prayed to our omnipotent power company to spare me the shame of an impotent saw.

Well not exactly, before I pluged it in I ran a dedicated 30 amp line, using 10 gauge wire, pluged the sucker in and it hummed away.

Those of you who suggested this remedy were right on the money.

I plugged it back into my compressor outlet and nothing.

I guess voltage drop on this motor is critical.

Thanks for all the advice and kind words, now I can play with the new toy.

I’ll be back when I have some new issue to discuss, or some questions, or some pics.

Ahem [sound of me clearing throat]

I presume we won’t hear from you for a little while. A man and his new (now WORKING) Table Saw … is kind of a sacred thing.

Congrats !!!

Good deal!
Have fun! You are going to love that saw! I was using my PM2000 this morning and thinking about how nice it is over wsome of the “others” I have had over the years.
Glad to hear you got it fixed (or the electric fixed….)
