Topic tags/keywords: question plane I have 3 hand planes that were handed down from my Dad. Two are pictured here. The one I am curious about is the red plane. It is approximately 10” in length and has a single “U” mark, with no other brans identification. Does anybody have an idea of what this is? -- Life is a sales job. |

It looks like it could be a mutt pieced together from other parts. The front knob looks a lot like one from a Millers Falls plane. What name is on the blade? -- Happiness is like wetting your pants...everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.... |

That red planes looks pretty much the same as the one that Keith restored recently, but I still can’t ID that plane -- The things I make may be for others, but how I make them is for me. |
