I’ve been fighting the urge to pull the trigger on one of the MLCS router table tops and was looking for any fellow jocks that had experience or opinions on these. This would be my first router table, and I would either get the stand for $45 through MLCS or (most likely) make one out of 2-by’s.

Thanks in advance…

I was strongly considering their top before I decided to make my own (ended up switching to a longer offset style to accommodate a positioner). Seems like it will do the trick for you – haven’t heard anything bad about their tops and they are a good value.

I have one of these that fits (bolted) on the side of my table saw. I mounted the Triton Router in her and love it! I was going to make one but it didn’t seem worth the time or money as I’m very busy. Once I looked at the tracks, hold downs etc plus I didn’t have any extra material lying around I bit the bullet! I sold my Router table combo to free up counter space. ck out my project to see mine. Hope this helps.
