I’ve been wanting a good set of digital calipers since I got my new CNC assemlbed finally.

These came highly recommended and the quality is amazing.

Mitutoyo make some fine stuff. You’ll be pleased. I’ve gotta admit that I have the Mit digital too, but most often grab an old Craftsman manual. BTW, Craftsman DID sell some good tools in years past.

What the heck was life like before your first set of calipers? I have a very nice set of dial calipers with fractional increments for woodworking, I swear I’ll wear the wheel put on those things, they are always in my hand in the shop.

You made the good choice buying quality, kudos.

That would be my choice if I could afford it. Congratulations :-)

I’ve been a machinist for 25 years, and the first calipers I bought for myself were 6 inch digital Mitutoyo’s that I still use today. I just recently bought a pair of 8 inch coolant proof ones that no doubt will last just as long, if not more than the 6 inch pair. I’m sure that you’ll love yours. Congratulations!

I use to wield a set of mitutoyo’s , repeatable precision is a very good thing.

I have 3 Mitutoyo dial calipers and 2 digital ones. Needless to say, I think you’ve made a good choice.

Wow looks i made the right choice. I used my discover points to pay for most of it. Thanks Askwoodman for the recommendation.
