Apparently from 2008, $600. Any thoughts as to buying these used? I’ll be using primarily for resawing hardwoods.

That’s more than I would offer UNLESS it is the Extreme Series with the cast iron trunions, wheels, and the resaw fence.

I did end up getting it for $600 with 3 extra blades. Honestly it’s extremely difficult to find used bandsaws around here, they are all the 12” craftsman variety, which I already have. It appears to be in good shape and only needs a new throat plate. It’s the base model, with the aluminum wheels and steel trunions.

Thats not a bad price IMO. I’ve had mine about that long, and its been a great saw. I use mine for resaw only as I have a 1934 Delta 14” for everything else. I highly recommend the laguna carbide tipped blade. It ain’t cheap but it makes a butter smooth cut and will last forever. I’m going to send you PM on how to get a discount on that blade. Timberwolf blades for general cutting. Good luck.

Do they make the laguna resaw king in the right length for the g0513? I think it’s 131.5”...

To answer my own question, they say the 132” blade should fit well enough. I just worry that there would be enough tension for a 3/4” blade at 132”.

.5” either way will not make a diff in length. You buy the resawking by the inch anyway. I think if memory serves me right, I wen +.5 on recommendation from Laguna. Its been runnin fine since then.
