I recently got a dovetail jig at a garage sale. I have never used one and the instruction that came with it are hard to understand to say the least. Does anyone have a quick down and dirty explanation of how to set it up and use it? I figured this was the best place to ask as I see all the great project being shown on here.

These jigs are all different. What type did you buy?

Mine came with No instructions, all I did was adjust this nut & that nut Till I got it where I wanted it. Bit depth notwithstanding. wasn’t to hard only took about 3 hours & some scrap lumber.
