Topic tags/keywords: bit brace auger hand drill

I’m interested in acquiring a brace. I would prefer to get a used one with a 10” sweep or more. I understand a 16” sweep is better for large bits, but also somewhat rare. eBay has them on occasion, but the collectors are driving the prices up too much for a user (me). Is anyone looking to unload?

Olaf, do you have a strong Craigslist following in your area? I find items there all the time.

Olaf,

I have several from my collecting days. I always reach for my favorite, so I don’t need the others. Let me send you a pic and you can choose for the price of postage.
