Topic tags/keywords: question resource tablesaw blade

I’m looking to get a saw blade for my new table saw. I usually run with Diablo in my old table saw and miter saw, but I’ve heard good things about the Marples blades by Irwin. Has anyone tried both?

Thanks -Jason

“Lumberjoe” compared both shortly after the Marples line was introduced. IIRC, he favored the Marples, but I suspect you’ll be happy with either. Pick the right blade the task and a color!

Thanks! I’ll definitely pick up their combo blade within the next few days.

I’ve used both and didn’t notice much of a difference between the two. If you’re going to resharpen the blade, the marples seems to have more carbide to work with. In that way, marples > diablo.
