Where can I find some plastic laminate. I need to build an extension wing for my saw and would like to use a solid color laminate. My local home store only has patterned laminate for kitchen counters and the sheets are huge.

Thanks,
-Rocko

Find a manufacturer or cabinet shop in your area that makes countertops and or does laminate work and see if they will sell you some scrap.

Call the resurface pros in De Kalb. They might be able to help you http://www.resurfacepros.com/

At the least, steer you to the right people.

I was unable to find laminate easily for my router table build. My local home centers could only order large sheets of Formica and the local plastics store didn’t carry laminate or Formica. So I gave up and got several sheets of opaque white HDPE. I’m concerned it’s a bit softer than laminate, but otherwise it should fit the bill.

Didn’t bother trying the cabinet shop route…in my area the cabinet shops I’ve called for other things are…well…let’s just call them unhelpful.
