Stopped by woodcraft today to get some bits to go with the new cnc. Had not been satisfied with early results using standard router bits for playing. It do make a diff. I put Amana close on my list behind Whiteside in quality. I only got to use one of the vgroves last night got home late, but so far a great improvement. Will get to try the ballnose this weekend.

If any of you have any experiences let me know.

Amana makes a good product. I’ve been using their saw blades and router bits for at least 20 years, and don’t have a problem with them.. They cater mostly to cabinet shops and such. I got my bits and blades from a local sharpening service…......... Jerry (in Tucson)

For my 2¢ I like ‘em. Have several of their router bits for many years. No complaints here, comparable value with other brands I’ve tried.

standard bits, shipped with machines are usually worst crap possible. try CMT Orange (favorite middle class) or Onsrud (best i ever had). Especially spiral and possible downcuts :)
