Topic tags/keywords: burl oak tree

there is a tree by my house on a street named fittingly oak st

this is is pretty much a big burl, I love it, I don’t love the tree I love the thought of having the wood there are many huge oak trees in my little city some over 200 years old some with 3-4ft diameter, I walk my dog every day and dream of the wood, big leaf maple, huge magnolia trees ,pecans and a 2ft diameter dogwood tree, a big cedar

Tree looks dead, I would be calling on the people in the house or the city and offering free falling service if I
could be sure of pulling it away from those wires, but then I never claimed to be real smart.

When I see a tree like that I see thousands of nails and staples from all the lost pet, yard sale, etc. flyers that were nailed/stapled all over it during the last umpteen years. Nope, I wouldnt touch it.

Have your say...
