I put together a video of the pictures I took at Totally Turning 2010 at Saratoga Springs, NY ( The show is a combined show of woodworkers and woodturners. Hope you enjoy it.

Were those Triferns turnings that you highlighted several times that had won ribbons?

I’m not sure what you mean by Triferns? At what timeframe in the movie are you looking at?

I find it fascinating to see how people who use the same medium (wood) and the same tools (lathes, saws, grinders, etc.) come up with such unique and individual expressions of artistry!

Those were made by my friend and artist Andy DiPietro from New York. He does awesome work.
